Getting to the Old City Quarter

Old City Quarter is steps from the Nanaimo downtown core and easy to get to.

Vehicle Parking is easy in the Old City Quarter where there's free street parking for 2 hours on most streets. For longer stays, there's the Selby Street parkade on the corner of Selby and Fitzwilliam Streets (access via Selby) and another at 420 Selby Street. 

Vancouver Island Convention Centre Located just a few blocks West of the Convention Centre, the Old City Quarter is an easy 5 minute walk.

Boat Since Nanaimo is The Harbour City, boaters love docking and coming up to the Old City Quarter. Just a 10 minute walk, or 5 minute drive, the Old City Quarter is the perfect place to take a load off sea legs. 

BC Ferries Come across the Georgia Straight from the Mainland on board the largest ferry service in North America. Two trips get you from the mainland, either from Horseshoe Bay (West Vancouver) to Departure Bay (Nanaimo) or Tsawwassen to Duke Point (15 minutes south of Nanaimo). 

Seaplane Terminal With regular scheduled flights from Vancouver and the Sunshine Coast, and only a 20 minute trip, getting to Nanaimo by seaplane is fun and a breeze. The Old City Quarter is a few blocks Southwest from the Nanaimo seaplane terminal.
